I have a friend that has one of these. It is unfired , 6" barrel. They made 500 of them. What do you think it might be worth.I have no interest in it. I think is is kinda ugly.He wants to sell it.

Find out what kind of TV Elvis had, and sell it with one of those.

Should you shoot the TV, like Elvis did, or let the next buyer do that?

Elvis loved guns and a Elvis themed 686 would be neat, however I don't think I would pay through the nose for one.

My experience has been that items created as collectibles usually do not become collectible. I am with the majority here, I would actually pay less than market for it. An auction would probably yield the highest return if you found some Elvis fans that were both interested. I did see him in concert when I was a kid. He was a great entertainer and loved his guns and Cadillacs. Gave away a lot of high grade SAA's to friends.

I have never bought a commemorative firearm of any stripe. I see them as overpriced paperweights. Most people buy firearms for shooting, but commemorative firearms are designed for those few who are will to part with a lot more money for something to display. Resale value is usually less than original retail price.
