I have a Wilson Combat J Frame Kit to install on my 649-5
Will it affect the single action trigger weight??
It’s very light now.

If Wilson's spring kit comes with a replacement rebound slide spring, like APEX's does, it will give you a slightly lighter SA trigger pull over a factory strength rebound spring.

In my 360J the APEX spring kit (along with some polishing) changed the SA pull from 3.4# to 2.6#.

The replacement hammer spring gives you a lighter DA trigger pull.

The good news is you can have your cake and eat it. If (IF) the Wilson kit's effect on your single action is not to your liking, simply replace their rebound slide spring with the one you took out----no harm, no foul!

Forgot to ask, are you carrying this revolver?
If not, do what you like.
If you are, put in the heavier rebound slide spring or leave the stock one alone if it is working. I dont know if you will be doing any SA shooting in SD scenarios. I think I have the 14 or 13# spring in my 638 and has been ultra reliable, did not affect SA shooting in the least.

I recently had the Wilson springs installed in my 1982 60 along with having the wider smoothed trigger, edges of it smoothed. Prior to the spring change the trigger pull was horrible, now with the 13# it’s dramatically better.

No issues with ignition of the Gold Dot short barrel 135gr ammo. The hammer is bobbed (got it with a broken spur), the single action is intact but I don’t use it.

That’s a good looking 60. The weight of all steel gun makes it better for all round use.

Thank you, I bought my first one in 1978, long gone. I've always preferred the steel J frames to the lightweights. I bought this one just two weeks ago from an elderly friend that needed to sell off his few remaining firearms. I gave $500 for it with the broken hammer spur and wearing Pachmayr grips. I prefer the Bantam.
