This past weekend I attended a revolver class given by Kyle Yount of Surprise Break. The revolvers used were, 686+, 340, 60 3" barrel,431 and me with a 432 UC. Kyle keeps a good pace with relevant drills. Everyone was safe, experienced and fun. I chose the 432 because of the reduced recoil compared to a .38 caliber j frame. We fired maybe 400 rounds and I had absolutely no issues with the 432 UC. We shot the Ohio Peace Officer Revolver Qualification. I received the top shot award. Everyone got to shoot the revolvers in attendance and all agreed I cheated because of the ease, lack of recoil and accuracy of the 432UC. If you are looking for a j frame, this is your answer. I highly recommend the 432UC and Kyle for all your firearms training needs.

The 631 and 632 are stainless in 32 H&R Mag. The 632-1 and 632-2 are in 327 Federal. My opinion is the 327 Federal is too much cartridge for the J Frame. Once you try one you will make your mind up. The 32 H&R Mag is a comfortable and controllable round in the J Frame.

A little while back, I attended one of Caleb Gidding's revolver classes. I mostly shot a 432PD (this was before the UCs came out) and a 32 Hand Ejector snub built on an I-Frame. Shooting 32 Long wadcutters was absolutely cheating compared to most everyone else. On top of that, due to the practical benefits of such carry, those with pocket holsters were permitted to start any drill with their hand in their pocket.
Even compared to shooting lightly loaded 38 wadcutters from a K-frame, the 32 Longs out of a gun weighing 1lb or less was simply a breeze.
Since then, I've bought a 632UC and now have a 432UC TI on its way to my FFL.

Great and timely post. I’m enrolled in a defensive revolver class in May. While I’m looking forward to it but I’m having difficulty finding lead free ammo for my 432 UC (I need 150 rounds) The range hosting the class only allows for lead free ammunition. I’ve searched the popular online ammo sights but have comen up with nothing. Any suggestions would be welcome.
Nomadmax I used the HKS speedloaders,didn't even bother to look at speed strips. I like Safari land but they don't cone in .32.

100% agree with this. I added the APex to my 432UC and its been 100% reliable. The AFR pocket holster disappears completely.
Double Tap loads a total copper bullet, I just looked but there out of stock right now. You might be able to give them a call. I have some and it is a good round.
The original 631 and 631 Lady Smith are all stainless, but the 632 Airweight Centennial is an alloy frame with stainless barrel and cylinder.

I did have a couple of misfires after the kit this past week. The extended firing pin was almost a flat dome shape. I gently reshaped it to more match the factory FP profile. Seems to have fixed it. Love this little gun

I took my new 432 UC Ti to the range last week, and I was wowed by its accuracy and nice trigger. Win!
The out of the box trigger on my Ti gun was WAY better than the UC one I got before it. Really surprised me!
Unfortunately the front sight is really canted, I think she's going back to S&W. The serial # is pretty cool, hopefully I keep the frame. That aside the gun is perfect, it really is.

I agree that the 432 UC Ti trigger is better than the 632 UC. And more accurate. I’m thankful I haven’t had any issues so far with either one. I also bought a new Model 19 Carry Comp that didn’t have any quality control issues. Hopefully, that’s a trend…?
Sorry to hear your sight isn’t right. I hope you can get that fixed without much trouble.

Have you measured trigger pull? The APEX kit got my 432 down to a shade over 9 lbs

Not yet, but that doesn’t sound far off. Or maybe it just feels so good that it seems light.
I'm trying to tell myself "no", but I see that and I think that down the line, I May* end up with a 632Ti and a 642UC because: Reasons
