Any way to remove light scratches on a Matte finish 4006?

I gather this finish is a bead blast finish? I did look through the FAQ and not sure if some of the 3M pads would make the finish worse? I have done many regular smooth stainless with wet dry and Mothers Mag polish. Is a brushed look what I am calling Matte finish??

Is the only way on these matte finished guns to have them bead blasted??

If you want to keep the Matte finish beadblasting with the proper size beads is the only way. The 3M pads will not give you the matte finish but is like sanding the metal.
