Default Just Dropped My Baby Off With Nelson Ford

This weekend. Based upon recommendations on this forum I wanted to get my Dad's police revolver an action job.

Great guy, very knowledgeable. had fun chatting with him until another customer came in.

Glad I decided to make the drive and have the work done by someone as knowledgeable as him. I wanted to do it before all of these old master gunsmiths start retiring.

This is it in original as I got it after Dad passed:

And current setup with Grashorn's and a BK grip:

and faithfully on my side in a recent carbine course:

I carry it often in the desert and when traveling so I cannot wait to get it back. I feel kind of naked.

The 442-1 no lock I just picked up will take some of the sting out of being separated from it I suppose.

I know it will be worth the wait but I miss it already....
