Little .380 Walther is something else!

I had a Waffenproofed .32 acp PPK in the 80's and loved it, but wanted the better .380 stopping power. Never found one in my price range. Later had a 60's PPK in .22 LR that I still kick myself for getting rid of. Most accurate and compact .22 I've ever seen. Carried it in my RF pants...

thoughts on polishing a revolver patriot polishing

I polished my M686-6" back in the mid 80's. I used a buffing wheel and polishing compound on the curvy areas. It looked like nickle and has been said before, was easy to clean. Sold it after a year for more than I paid for it, but not enuf for the time I invested polishing it.

    Just Another Old Ford

Flew in one about 1970 from a long gone small airfield on the west side of Indy. $15 for 15-20 minute flight. Cool sounds from the motors and I remember the wicker seats and spectacular view.

    Transforminal Lumber Interbody Fusion (TLIF)

I had a ruptured L5-S1 disc that was removed in 1995. I've had constant back aches & pain ever since. Now arthritis is setting in and sciatic pain to boot. Warm weather, movement and Voltarin plus other Rx's are keeping me active. Spring, Summer and Fall aren't too bad, but Winter sux.

    M3 Grease Gun

10 or 20 years ago, workers at Guide Lamp in Anderson In. found 2 M3 grease guns wrapped in oily cloth in the roof supports. Guide Lamp was the only manufacture of the M3's. Rumor was that some Guide employees "liberated" a couple of M3's and hid them in the rafters expecting to retrieve...

    Getting on the 10mm bandwagon

I wanted one when the Bren 10 was released, but when the Bren 10 went **** up, I couldn't get a warm and fuzzy feeling about the Colt Delta 10 or S&W 10mm. Now, with the resurgence of interest in full power 10mm, if I could find a CZ75 based model, I'd probably jump on it.

    Happy 59th Birthday Ford Mustang

Being a 7 year old in Indy in 1964, I was overwhelmed by the 64-1/2 Mustang Indy 500 pace cars. Lean, mean, sleek and had a great 4bbl exhaust rumble. They were all over town and drew looks where ever they went. It made a serious image in my mind and I've been a Stang' fan ever since...

My Alternate Carry Gun; Kel-Tec P32

Had friends with .32 and .380 Keltek's. Decent enuf gun, but the trigger pulls were like a mile past anything else I'd ever shot before. You just keep pulling the trigger, pulling the trigger further back than anything else I've ever shot, pulled some more and the damn thing finally went off...

    Where is that dog?

In Boy Scouts, had a Bobcat screach in the middle of the night while camping. Sounded like a dying child. Searched and found nothing. It was bone chilling and I didn't sleep the rest of the night. Found out the next day it was a Bobcat from the locals.
