    Bought some 9mm ammo.......

Good. I bought one of these earlier this year - the stripper version Ruger. Remarkably good trigger. I've got Glock mags all over so it's a no brainer.

    40 S&W gun powder

That matches with the Hodgdon web site. I would typically start, if I was working up loads, at 6.5 gr and work up to maybe 7.3 gr.

    My IDPA day

I love my two 625's. Probably the last revolver I would part with. I haven't shot a 45 Auto pistol since I bought them.

What's the most you will pay for a case of 9mm?

The last 9mm I bought was CCI brass blazer for $0.32/round, in October of this year. I reloaded 250 today for around $0.13/round. I wouldn't buy any for more than $0.40/round, and that would have to be for good, name brand stuff.

    40 S&W gun powder

You should consult a reloading manual or Hodgdon's reloading data center to determine safe powder charge weights for what you are doing.

    Beauty shot - 629 and 18

Went shooting this afternoon out in the desert. Muddy but not bad weather. Shot a box through my Model 18-2, just plinking, and shot up some partial boxes of Handloads I had hanging around, through the 629-5.

    586 Silhouette Value

I shot NRA hunter pistol Silhouette in late '80's and early '90's in Washington state using one of these pistols. It worked quite well if I remember correctly. I have no idea where I sold it, but probably got something like $200 for it.

    CMP ammo

I ordered two cases of their Eley standard ammo back in November. I expect to get it about the first of the year. I thought it was a good deal. I will let you know how it shoots in some of my rifles. Note that the ammo I ordered is out of stock at this time.

    Super Redhawk In Da'House!

Beauty. I've had two Redhawks and one SRH, all in 44 mag. Just have the 4" Redhawk left. They are a bruiser, for sure. Enjoy!

    Dodge Ram Fahrvergnugen

My next truck will most likely be a Ram Rebel. My dad was the Dodge dealer in our hometown in Montana for 30+ years, so I am a Mopar fan from way back.

    SIG P210-6

I admire your pistol and wish more were available here in the US. I recently bought a new 210 Target model, which is a very impressive pistol with regards to quality of fit and finish.

    Roll crimp for 10mm

I'd look for the Redding profile crimp die for the 38-40. Should work perfectly.

    S&W 625 help!

Yeah, my two 625's are probably my favorite handguns at this point in time, due to the fun factor more than anything else.

    S&W 625 help!

I have a pair of 625-3 - one 4 inch and one 5 inch. They shoot fantastic and have led me to divest all of my 45 auto pistols save one. No chasing brass and super accurate. If I was looking, the 4" JM model seems to be a reasonable price compared to the older versions.

    629 carry advice

I use and recommend the Gunfighters, Inc Kenai chest holster for carrying a 629 in the out doors. I carry a 629 Classic with 6.5" full underlug barrel in mine when hunting. I can carry it all day and my back is still aligned when I get home. The nice thing about this set up is that one can...

How Many Duplicates Are Too Many?

Well, I am down to 7 Garands. Had something like 12 or 14 of them at one point. So, keep on keeping on, I say.

Powder charge for .38 vs 9mm

Also depends on bullet weight, which you don't mention as to what you are using or planning on using, and the bullet construction - swaged, cast or jacketed.
