I have been hoping that S&W would announce a pc, but ran out of patience. Saw this at a gunshop in the big city a couple weeks ago and passed it up. Went back yesterday and it was still there. Soooooooooooo.
Just got back from putting the first 50 rounds thru it. Looks to be more than sufficiently accurate. After just 10 rounds of getting it sighted in, I was banging a 1 foot steel target at 100 yards very easily. The 3-9x scope is a bit more optic than it needs, but it was the only thing I had laying around waiting for a use. I've already got 4 Glock mags and a red dot coming for it.

Good. I bought one of these earlier this year - the stripper version Ruger. Remarkably good trigger. I've got Glock mags all over so it's a no brainer.

Exactly what it is. Looking closely at the action, its pretty much a 10-22 on steroids.
