66-2 My "farm" gun. One of my favorite firearms.

I found with my 640 Pro, that Winchester brass would not load in the moonclips at all. I can load Federal or Hornady very easy, without a tool.

I just put a Hogue Tamer grip on my 640 Pro and I kike it a lot.

The Shield is an excellent pistol and a great carry piece. You'll like it.

I have a Shield and LC9s. I like them both. The Ruger has a better trigger, and fits in the pocket better. But, after buying a 640 Pro, I may sell them both.

I like Federal "Reduced Recoil" 110 grain JHP in mine. Maybe not the most devastating ballistics, but I can shoot it very accurately, and it's pleasant to practice with.

I have one for my 66-2 2 1/2" that I use on my farm. Love it.

The advantage, on my farm, is that 7 1/2 .410 shot is much more deadly on Copperheads, than .38 special rat shot.

In my experience with my 337 and 642, the Federal low recoil 110 grain loads allow me to shoot my best. I'm certainly no expert shot with a J frame so take that for what it's worth.

I had a 642 that I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with....then I installed an Apex kit. The difference is night and day. I now LOVE my 642.

Who says alcohol and firearms don't mix? :-)

I put and Apex kit in my 642, and could not be happier. I can actually hit the target with it now.

Love my chest rig from Diamond D. My 66-2 2 1/2" rides in it whenever I'm prowling around the farm.

Very happy with my Shield...but even happier with with my LC9s.

I have one from 1988 that is amazingly accurate and low recoiling. I think it is a great firearm for almost any game within it's limits, I use the iron sights and keep my shots to about 125 yards or less.

Completely normal.
