Canceled the P365 order. I'll stick with the Shield

My Shield v2.0 #11810 came with three mags (two 8, one 7) and factory night sights (that work) for $415. The original "Siglites" were made by Meprolight, who make high quality night sights.

Shield 9 2.0 or performance center?

The Shield v2.0 has a much better grip on it and trigger. If you plan on putting a Houge grip on it, then the v1.0 can save you money. The muzzle rise on the Shield is very minimal, so I see no need for a PC version, too much flash and noise.

1st post: bought M&P Shield single stack... slide release is TIGHT

I had a Kahr PM9 that the instruction manual said to Lock the Slide back, and then release the Slide Stop on a full mag to chamber a round". I paraphrase.

Quality leather belt holster for Shield 2.0 9mm

Thanks for the feedback. I am very pleased with the quality of the Bianchi, I also own a Model 100 that fits my g43 (although it was bought for another pistol) that has held up very well over the years.

Quality leather belt holster for Shield 2.0 9mm

Just received my Bianchi "Remedy" pancake holster today. This is exactly what I was looking for, great quality, cant, and pulls the pistol tight to the side. Mine is black and the gentleman never used it, he sold his Shield. It came in the original packaging and it is obvious that it is brand...

    Sell my GLOCK 19 for a S&W M&P 2.0 Compact?

I own multiple Glock and shoot them pretty well. After handling the new 2.0 3.6" M&P I was impressed with the pistol, the trigger was not as nice as my 2.0 Shield though. But each pistol can be a little different pistol to pistol of the exact same model. I would rent a 2.0 M&P and see if it...

    M&P Shield Grip

The Houge "Shield Grip" #18400 IS tough to get on, but it will not move on you and it fills the hand well. Heat it up in nearly boiling water (for a while) and spray grip with dish soap or Windex as they say to do. It is a fight, so be ready.

Quality leather belt holster for Shield 2.0 9mm

I just received the Desantis Mini-Scabbard today. It is a well made holster but the 1.75" belt openings allow it to shift from 15 degree cant to 5 degree cant. It also does not hold the pistol as tight to my side as does the Galco "Concealable". Galco contacted me and verified that they do not...

    S&W .32 Long CTG

After looking at it closer under magnification it appears to be a "3" not a "5". The 1920's makes sense as my dad was born in 1917 and at sixteen had a Colt SAA .45LC 7.5" "Rubber Blue", new in box. My grandfather owned a hardware store in upstate NY in a little town on Lake George. My father...

    Question concern M & P Shield 9mm 1.0

Did they continue to manufacture the v1.0 after the 2.0 release? The reason I ask is that my v2.0 was dated 10/18/17, two days after their release date. The Popular Shield Gets An Update: The New M&P Shield M2.0 - Gun World Magazine
