    Sport II Newbie question

OK so after saving up the cash this month, I picked one up at the LGS. I am heading to the range with it on Friday. So another new Sport 2 owner here.

How are Sellier & Bellot Primers?

I always buy a few thousand at a time. I have better luck with them, than any other brand I have used.

    Sport II Newbie question

Indoor Range and Gun Sales-Top Gun Shooting Sports (MO) the range includes gun rental with all memberships. I've only ever rented 2 times, but it's nice to try out a gun before you spend hard earned money on it. It's how I ended up with my M&P 40c I carry every day.

    Sport II Newbie question

Thanks everyone for the input. I went to a gun shop today, and held several different models and compared them. I'm still not 100% set on which one to get. But the range I am a member at has free rental for me, I just have to buy ammo from them.

    Sport II Newbie question

Thanks everyone. The Ruger being brought up is ironic, because I have many Ruger pistols, and I'm also considering the Ruger since my local go to Gun shop stocks and sells them.

    Sport II Newbie question

I'm considering buying a new M&P 15 Sport II and have a question. I know it has adjustable sights on it. But is it possible to add a scope to this model? If so what does it take to do it? Also what is a "good buy" on a new model? Locally they have them for $599. Thanks in advance. Matt

    Is the 22LR drought over?

    Picked up my first 1911

I don't know that I'd want to shoot a 1911 this small in 40. 9MM may not be bad, but according to Browning they didn't chamber it in 9mm because their research showed reliability issues.

    Picked up my first 1911

Sorry just a cell phone pic. But I really like this gun(and I'm not a fan of .380 cart.)

    Picked up my first 1911

OK so technically it's a 1911, but it's a 7/8 scale model. Browning 1911-380 Black label. It's just like a 1911 or smaller, and wow what a shooter. First 8 at 15 yards I shot with it, stayed in a 1 inch size hole. And it only got better from there. Yeah it's a .380, but it's sweet just...

    Winchester 158gr SWC Copper coated?

Thank you all. I use a lot of Berry bullets as well, but I've not ever reloaded with any SWC coated bullets at all. I wasn't sure where to go. I will just use the data as if they were berry's. Matt

    Winchester 158gr SWC Copper coated?

I recently bought out an older guy who had some reloading stuff he was looking to get rid of. In this there was a new pack of 500 Winchester SWC 158gr copper coated bullets. I can't find any loading data for this bullet for .38 special or .357 can anyone help point me to a recipe for this? I'd...

I know you guys will like this...

It's the internet, you will be able to find someone who hates anything and everything you bring up. I've owned 4 Taurus guns. All have been flawless, and they continue to be for their current owners. (I sold them simply because unlike Smiling Larry tells you, a man can have too many guns. At...

    Digital Cameras...not too happy.

A fellow photographer took this photo of my shooting a football game, in what was left of a hurricane came up the midwest from the Gulf of Mexico. Rain gear for me, rain gear for the camera. And we are all insured if something fails. Been doing this 10 years professionally and have never lost a...

    Digital Cameras...not too happy.

I shoot professionally for a living. I have what I have, because it's what I need to put food on the table. I've shot in light rain, snow, and thunderstorms. Proper coverings make the difference. I even shot in what was left of a hurricane. Haven't ever had a failure. Matt

    Model 36 date help

Thank you, that is much older than the LGS owner said it was. The gun is in VERY good condition, with barely a mark anywhere. I didn't pull the grips off to see if they numbered to the gun, I probably will when I go back to pick up my bow this week if it's still there. And I assume it will be...
