Please let us know how it works out. I have a 70D and a bunch of Canon lenses left over from my Canon A1 days I'd sure like to use.

Depending on the type of adapter, you may not get infinity focus. I'm not familiar with the Canon systems but Pentax makes an adapter for the old Takumar screw in lenses to fit modern Pentax DSLRs. The adapter allows the lenses to sit against the camera body. But there are also knockoff adapaters that have a flange where the lens doesn't mount against the camera body. Because of this, no infinity focus. So if your adapter doesn't let the lens sit the same distance from the sensor as it did from the film on other cameras, you're not going to get full use out of it.

Wow. No WONDER you don't want to get rid of that lens. I didn't anyone ever made an 80mm F1.2 lens. That is just wicked FAST at that focal length!

I had a Minolta 55mm F1.2 back in the 1980's. I could have done a LOT more with an 80mm F1.2! I really liked night photography, and a fast lens is just essential.

I hope you can get it to work for you!

I have a bunch of Nikor lenses sitting on the shelf gathering dust.

Which Nikkor lenses? Many if not all of them may fit and work on current Nikon DSLR cameras. I use many of them myself. If you want to remve them from your shelf PM me a list of them.

Most 35mm film camera lenses have little value, except maybe Leica, etc.. I'd recommend looking on eBay to see what they are bringing, but you will probably be very disappointed in what you see. I'd recommend listing it on eBay at a low starting price, say $20, and take whatever the winning bid is and be happy.
