I really like a fluted cylinder on that pistol. Looks comforting.

    What's your most accurate Revolver?

When I do my job, a factory stock (except for Fitz Grips) 4" M19-3 puts rounds exactly on target as far as my eyes can see. :)

45 Colt Made for Skeeter Skelton by Smith & Wesson.

Yup. That's one reason I often load Federal's rather slow 200 gr LSWCHP 44 Special load for in town CCW, but my handloads for the hills. And like you posted, a lot of folks don't mind carrying a 45 Auto for defense. Heh, some folks are known to handload 250 gr SWCHP's in 45 Autorim for their...

Why Do People Love the 44 Special So??

Well, yes. Perhaps I'm not the only one, but my CCW rules say no Magnums bigger than the 357Magnum. (This is policy/ procedure, not any kind of codified law.) They won't discuss why, but I believe the lawsuits & way our general public misunderstands guns, and the way "Dirty Harry" has been...

The Ultimate Performance Center revolver thread ?

If you mean Hogue's, I had standard Hogue Pau Ferro's, smooth - not checkered, on my 4" 686 and 4" Security Six, and they worked perfectly. Standard 357 Magnums, modern factory loads, all worked well with no problem. Those grips did it for those revolvers and my hands. On the other hand, the...

    Question on a "perfect" gun - Model 27 in 3 1/2 inch

When it came down to it, I bought a 3 1/2"er.... And would have bought more if I could afford it.

The addiction for the snub nose continues...15-3

Great pics and I agree the blued snub K frames are Very Special. Well, maybe the nickled wheelguns too. And even the newer, stainless versions. And the snub J's. And L's. And N's... Yup, that must be it. Snub S&W's. :)

    S&W 627 PC holster

I'd email Ray at Lobo, I have a few of his pancakes with thumb breaks; well made, work well for me, and good communications.

    627 pro question

You can reload the 627Pro one round at time, with an eight round speed loader, with an eight round Quick Strip from Tuff Products, or with a moonclip. 357Magnums, 38S&W Specials, or 38S&W's; your choice. The 8X357's are sweet wheel guns.

    The Elusive Wesman 5906/5903 Custom

Wow I must have been living under a rock, inside a cave. No other way to have missed this thread. Congrats! The 5" Wesman Special (great name) is a very, very sweet pistol. And you did the alloy frame; awesome. Great pics too. I've drooled over your 356TSW posts, and now this. Thumbs up...

Actually, wood is comfortable, if they fit your hands properly. The fit is the hard part. And yup those Hogues look great.

    25-2, 2 3/4"/Who Does This Work?

Ya know, them old wheelguns are very outdated and obsolete. Being so old, they'll likely blow up and take your hand with them too. And the ammo is outdated and expensive and hard to find. Just box them up and bring them to me for proper handling. Don't worry, I'm here to help! ;)

    Found 3inch model 13 R/B

I look at that model as a working carry gun, not a safe queen or collecting. And that gunsmithing as carry gun type work. Someone obviously bought that to be a working piece meant for self protection, and there is nothing at all wrong with that. I don't know that I could get a better price on...
