    3 inch K Frame Holsters

    This S&W branded holster was made for 2 1/2" K frames, but works well with a 3" K. Roughly 1/8" of a 3" 13-3 barrel shows.

    2.0 Wow!!

Great choice, and great shootin'. Load up on spare 15 rd mags before you can't get any more. I have the full size 9mm 2.0 and love it. true..but unlike Glock, S&W dragged its *** when it came to getting a 10mm M&P to market. So you can add "paying attention to the market" to the list of...

    Saw a nice 66-1, P&R, 2-1/2 Incher

While you're waiting for the right answer someone else may already be enjoying that snub....even at that price. added pic of 66-2 and 66-1...maybe it'll hound you into buying that 66

    4506 mags in mid-1989

My TEP prefix 4506 came with mags w. yellow followers, but anything goes with S&W.

    Non S&W EDC

Higher cap. pistols are a must in some areas that i have to pass through. XDm 10mm 3.8", Hellcat, or a G27 (w. X-Grip and G23 mag). The only S&W I might carry is the very easy to conceal 642-1. The other S$Ws i own would be too large, or too expensive to replace, and none have a higher round...

    Holster help

You'll be able to use the 610 in any N-frame holster. I Use the same holster for the 627, 625, and 610...no problems. Good luck on your 610 search!!

    66-2 that was on GB

Nice 66!! You paid the going price, and you did very well. The 66-2 on the top is my first S&W. I wasn't looking for another, but the local Sheriff's office issued 66-1 has some history behind it, and that made it a 'must have' for me. I paid the (then) fair asking prices for both.

    4506-1 Review

Thank you!!! Not to hijack your thread, but I've seen a few on GB, most of which had adjustable rear sights. It appears that S&W got rid of the 'step' on the frame before they phased out the square trigger guard. Never have seen one with a round guard and 'step' on frame...just an assumption...

    4506-1 Review

Thanks for the review, and the pics. The 4506's reliability, and extremely good looks make it a must-have for many. Finding any model# Gen 3 in very good condition at the LGS, pawn shops, or gun shows is not so easy these days. I'm glad you found and use yours. It was built to be shot. Sadly...

Bring back the S&W Model 649 357 Mag

Some bright orange Testor's model paint applied with a toothpick will make that problem go away. Did that to both the 640 (before i foolishly sold it), and the 642-1 that I now carry.

    Revolvers S&W "Should" have made??

8 shot 627s with normal looking standard round barrels of any length, and no lock. They must have wrongly assumed that the 'slab side' barrels were what everyone wanted when many more people didn't want them. A 627 with a 3 7/8" round barrel and lock was in production for only a very short...

    Air guns-Rifles

It's all about pest control and occasional plinking for me. The RWS Model 48 is a powerful and accurate beast, but it is heavy and being a heavy spring sidelever it requires some effort to load if that might be a problem. I bought this .177 caliber 48 (made in W. Germany in 1988) for a song...

    Primers,,powder?.

Great planning, but i would refer to your supply buying as foresight, not "hoarding".... that is a word that so many with little foresight often use when they get caught with their pants down. Their complaint often goes something like this... "those damn hoarders. It's their fault i aint got...

If you thought eating Tide pods were stupid, there's this.

Holey moly! 100%. Some think that the 'cool factor' is more important than a career. "their choice"...yeah (business owner's choice not to hire)

Relocating to a new primary residence with guns

Good luck in your move. Drive safe! I moved from ILL-annoy to Missouri and hauled everything firearm related in an enclosed trailer. The good stuff was buried behind furniture and beneath boxes of other stuff. My brother followed just in case...you never know. I death gripped the steering wheel...

    1994 66-4 3" What Grips?

This 66-4 (CAA prefix) originally came with checkered Magna grips. The original owner put some Spegels on it. Amazing what the scalpers are asking for...and getting.

Illinois members--action on IL HB 1091

Thanks!...and good move! I'm southern Missouri bound... MUCH cheaper property taxes, Constitutional carry is the law, and they honor concealed carry permits issued by other states. I'm done with ILL-inois once the house is sold. edit to add.. Over half of my ex-coworkers are planning to leave...

Illinois members--action on IL HB 1091

Illinois is a money grabbing commie state for sure, and I have put off buying a new car for over 4 years because i refuse to give Illinois more tax money. As i stated in a previous post, they do not tax retirees..mainly because of the huge number of retired state workers (bureaucrats) and school...

Illinois members--action on IL HB 1091

Congrats to you, and I wish your son luck!!! Damn shame for anyone who has to remain in Illinois. I stayed only for the career, and retired early in the year. I'm in the process of moving one state over. Already have the property. Only 2 reasons i still have the Illinois DL and maintain...

    FINALLY.....M&P M2.0 10 MM

I predict they will be sought-after for a while...so of course the price gougers will take advantage of people who need one now. Regardless, it's great news for 10 mm fans. Glad S&W finally wised up.
