The other side of the OP's question: Is it hard on a 41's hammer spring to leave it cocked all the time in lieu of dry-firing?

The 7 round limit will be a nightmare to administer and enforce, especially if we end up with a 10 round federal limit.

I love WSF and WST for .45 ACP. WSF seems to have about the lowest possible chamber pressure for any given velocity. They both meter great. WST has good volume and seems to give more uniform velocities in light loads.
