New Model 649 without lock - fair price

Thanks for the quick replies. The gun I am speaking of is from Gunbroker. I had a feeling they were asking too much. I really would want a revolver without the internal locking system. It doesn't have to be new but in 90-99% condition. I'll just save my bucks and go with a new Model 649...

New Model 649 without lock - fair price

Aloha to all. It's been a while since I purchased a new handgun and now I've been wanting to acquire a new revolver. After some research, I've decided to go with a Model 649 .357 mag with no lock. I found one but would want to find out if the price they want is a fair one. It was made in...

    Thoughts on current-production 686+

I own a 686 Plus 4" barrel (MIM with lock) and it is my favorite gun. I can shoot it all day without any fatigue and I am quite accurate with it. I've put over a thousand rounds through it without a hitch (American Eagle and some Winchester ammo).

Ten (10) brand new, never used S&W Model 41 magazines (10 round)

Aloha to all. Up for sale are ten (10) brand new, never used S&W Model 41 magazines (10 round). These magazines came in on a back order I placed a few months ago and I received recently. I want to sell them as a one lot package deal. I do not want to sell them separately. I will also include a...

    Nill Grips

I first saw Nill grips on another gun forum and knew I had to get a set. Bought my first set for my Sig Sauer P220 Carry. What a beautiful set of grips. I recently acquired a S&W Model 41 and wanted to get some bling for it and ordered a set of Nill ambi grips for it. The Nill grips are...

I went to the dark (Sig) side...

I love my Sig Sauer pistols (P220R and P220 Carry two tone). I got all my magazines from Top Gun Supply (Sig Sauer branded). Have fun with your new pistol. I'm sure you'll get the M&P back again.

    Dry Firing Model 41

I don't dry fire my rimfire pistols without dummy rounds just to be on the safe side.

High velocity ammo and the Model 41

Aloha moosedog. I am considering getting the heavy recoil spring from Wolff and the recoil buffer. I do have about 5K of HV ammo some of which I would want to use in the Model 41 *IF* the heavy recoil spring and buffer will help alleviate any issues that may arise in using the HV ammo. But if...

High velocity ammo and the Model 41

Aloha to all. I was able to shoot my new Model 41 on Sunday and all is well. I can understand why this pistol is one of the best .22lr target pistols around. It is a beautiful shooter and accurate right out of the box. I needed only a few clicks of windage adjustment to get it on target...

High velocity ammo and the Model 41

Thank you John for your reply. Looks like I'll not not use HV stuff though my new Model 41 . But it was good to find out now before shooting it and then later pay the consequences.

High velocity ammo and the Model 41

I've read from other forums that the Model 41 is tuned for standard velocity ammo. I've talked to one Model 41 owner that have installed a recoil buffer and extra power Wolff springs just to be on the safe side but but has never shot HV ammo only standard velocity ammo. He's not experienced...

High velocity ammo and the Model 41

I've got some Winchester SuperX High Velocity (40gr) and Winchester Super Speed HP (37gr hollowpoint/1330 FPS). Would this stuff be too hot for the Model 41?

    617 vs 41

I also couldn't make up my mind in going with the Model 41 or a 617 revolver. But after buying my Ruger Mark III Hunter and having a ball with it over the last month, I knew I had to get the Model 41 (5.5" barrel). I just got it last week and hope to wring it out for the New Year.

Looking for S&W Model 41 magazines

Hi Joel. The reason I bought 10 magazines (and have 8 more backordered) is that it is just so much more convenient when I go shooting on open days at the local range. Open days are only 4 days out of the month and open day is only 3 hours long so I have to make the best of it. I load my...

Looking for S&W Model 41 magazines

Well I placed my order for the S&W Model 41 magazines on the S&W website. The magazines are on back order . Oh well. But I lucked out on MidwayUSA and they had a few in stock so I ordered 10 of them . I also received my new Model 41 today. Looks like an early Christmas for me.

Looking for S&W Model 41 magazines

MidwayUSA and Brownells are OOS. I would buy the 12 round magazines but I live in Hawaii and there is a 10 round limit on pistol magazines (30 round magazines are okay for AR-15 and AK-47 in Hawaii). Any way most vendors will not ship pistol magazines that are more than 10 rounds in capacity...

Looking for S&W Model 41 magazines

Aloha to all. I just ordered a 5.5" Model 41 pistol. Yippee for me! Now I'm looking for an online vendor that has the 10 round magazines in stock that are reasonably priced. Any good leads will be appreciated. Mahalo in advance.
