Looks like you can get a better full grip on the gun while it's in the desantis holster. That's my preferred holster for pocket carry and sometimes I'll go to the Blackhawk if I'm carrying in pockets that are too narrow to allow the desantis to fit.
Adios! Just in case you didn't realize, posting ANYTHING on a public forum and then telling those that reply that you "could not possibly care less" is extremely rude. If you don't like what they say, ignore them.
Is this her first pistol? If so, most people simply have no other opportunity in life to hold a 30 oz object at arms length steadily for extended periods. Her muscles might just be tiring early. How about one of those stress squeeze balls and a 5lb dumbbell?
As far as low recoil .380 there...
Glad you had a blast! Local IDPA matches typically have ~50 shooters and ICORE only just over 10. I try to make it when I can. I prefer it to IDPA as there's no gaming and whining going on. I did most of my ICORE shooting with a 3" M66 and last year got a 6" M19.
It does not appear that you can get a full firing grip on the gun without your middle finger pinching holster material against the bottom of the trigger guard.
It's not just about how fast the bullet's going. It's also about the bullet construction. Unless they are using the same projectile, you can't say that they are equivalent. As Boge has pointed out, the projectiles are not the same. This is a case of people convincing themselves to disregard...
Be aware that the round dot won't sit in the square rear notch evenly, ie there won't be light on either side if that matters to you.
If it were me, I'd just paint the front sight white, then flourescent orange, and shoot "out of the notch" for close in quick firing.
I had a similar issue with a 1980s 686. My Comp III reloads with my M66 and M19 were fast and trouble free. Every third or so reload with the 686 Comp III (for L frame of course), the loader wouldn't want to release the rounds. Never really figured that one out.
This right here. But we still have to remember that people are animals and some of them, either b/c they are just really bad people or they are under the influence of drugs, might not drop when shot with anything if it doesn't hit brain or spine. You have to keep shooting until they are not...
It's probably demand. NYPD and Chicago issue it for revolvers and who know how many other departments. Plus it's popular with all the CCW folks that carry 38s. Not many of us can afford enough Corbon DPX to practice with ;)
Midway actually had some this week and I got lucky.
I suggest you...
I don't know. Anything IWB for me isn't "comfortable" and 1/4" won't make a difference. A 1/4" in width will not be the deciding factor as to whether or not someone will notice the gun on you. In a holster like an MTAC where you don't feel the width of the gun weight of the gun is the only...
