Police Search Packages Leaving Gun Show

That sounds like Maryland's MSP 77-R form. I was not aware of the 4473 being anything other than a single-use white paper (or electronic version) form.

How many of these things can you relate too?

Yes. Argued about every single one, except the toilet paper. It is intuitively obvious to the most casual observer that the paper should dispense toward the front of the roll. How else can you fold the little triangle on the start of a fresh roll, and display itself in a neat A.J. Squared Away...

Does FN make GI M-4's and M16s'?

It is my understanding that the shorter M4 came from the USMC wanting a shorter rifle, when they decided to have officers only carry a rifle (and no pistol). I could be wrong, however.

    A different problem in self-defense

I wonder why Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson weren't there - standing in unity next to the police chief - urging everyone not to riot? Maybe they just haven't heard about it yet. There's still time to get on TV.

Next time you complain about flying coach

I like this guy. In touch with his feminine side. :)

    A different problem in self-defense

That was hard to watch. I cannot imagine how cold and detached someone has to be, to film that and not help while that poor kid is getting his head stomped upon.

    BAD SCREW-UP

The data I have lists a starting load of 6.4 gr. Blue Dot (850FPS) and a MAX. charge of 8.3 gr. Blue Dot (1,050FPS), for a similar 180-gr. projectile. I would shoot one or two of those, before I pulled them. They might work just fine from the 7-yard line. :)

    newbie

For reference, that "ctg" is just an abbreviation for "cartridge". It has nothing to do with the model of the revolver. And a nice 25-5, it is!

    New gun for the wife

I buy and sell 637s all the time. Guys buy them for their wives and the wives can't handle the recoil. They sell them to me for $200 and I turn around and sell them for $325 all day long. Maybe I'm a sissy, but I can't stand shooting them, either. :o Do NOT buy a lightweight J-frame, is my...

    Another scam alert

I tell them that I don't have a computer. It works very well. :)

    AMMO!!

If I had only posted 150 times on an Internet Forum, I would show a bit of deference to someone with over 4,000 posts. That being said (written), maybe both of you should try going outside and enjoying the nice weather we're having. I mean that, in the most positive way I can muster. It's just...

    Point of aim help

The first thing I would try (if I truly suspected the sights) is to eliminate the shooter. Give it to a friend to shoot and don't tell them how you're hitting with it. See if the friend shoots the same way. If he or she does shoot the same way, then borrow a good gun vise (or at least shoot it...

    AMMO!!

Call me Mr. Vegas, but I like to start with starting loads and work up to the mid-range. I stay well away from max load data, always. If you find that a starting load works fine, use that. You use less powder that way, and it doesn't kick as much. It's a win-win. :)

I laughed when I read this. Thank you. Shake your head man, your eyes are stuck! :D

Bug Out Facts, Fables and Fairy Tales.

In the post-apocalyptic world that everyone likes to go on about, I'm not so sure I would want to live that long in it anyway. I did see a funny bumper sticker the other day. :D

    Repair Estimate

You can call them. I have called them many times over the years and never received a big sigh over the phone, or talked with anyone who seemed "put out" that I called to inquire about a firearm. They are typically nice people, there.

    Thinking about a .22 revolver

    It's 5 pounds. Maybe you're thinking double-action? The double-action is more than 8 pounds, but saying that it's 12 isn't really fair.

Bug Out Facts, Fables and Fairy Tales.

I always say that I don't need any of that fancy web gear and load-bearing vest stuff. I'll just stick around and let it come to me. If I need any of that, I'll just peel it off the dead yuppie preppers in the streets. They'll all have at least ten 30-rounders full of some exotic ammo, plenty...
