    Binoculars, Any suggestions?

I second this. I've got a pair of Steiner 8x30 Military Marine binoculars I bought at the Ft Bragg PX in 1989 for $159 and they are still as clear as when they were new. They went with me to Desert Storm and since then they've been beat up and rattled around in the Jeep and sloshed around in...

    Rifles for a road trip.

I vote for the Winchester. My .45 Trapper is the absolute last gun that I would part with.

I love my Ahrends. Maple finger grooves on my Model 13-3. The picture doesn't do these stocks justice.....

N Frame 3" Shoulder Holsters from El Paso Saddlery

6 weeks is what they told me too but when I got my #88 it was 8 weeks to the day. However, don't take that as a complaint. There are so few PERFECT things being made in the US these days, I'm happy to wait a while for an EPS holster.... My next leather order will be an EPS Tanker for my 4 5/8"...

New Holster from El Paso Saddlery

This was waiting for me when I got home this evening. I ordered it at the end of November. It's the #88 Street Combat holster with fish scale stamping. I think it's awesome and the fit and quality are the usual EPS perfection. My Model 13 is right at home....

What were they thinking with this 327 TRR8

It reminds me of the gun that Bill Murray has in Caddyshack with the flashlight taped to the barrel. FREEZE GOPHER!!!!

    2 inch 10-8

What do you think about a great condition Model 10-8, 2 inch, not a pinned barrel? Appears to be a late 1982 manufacture. They are asking $400 but I'm sure I can work that down. No box, etc.... I want a shooter and a carry piece. I'm thinking to go as high as $350. What say thee??

Is an adjustable rear site necessary?

Sir -- That sounds great and maybe you are an exception but the after action reports most of us see show that most shots miss or are non-lethal.... The differences of loadings between manufacturers of ammunition were not an issue. Center mass is pretty much the best you can hope for. Again...

Is an adjustable rear site necessary?

My opinion is: Yes and No. Jeff Copper would always ask: What is the gun FOR? If the weapon is FOR self defense adjustable sights are not necessary. Find a good load that shoots POA and you are set. If it is a multi-purpose weapon with which you intend to shoot multiple loadings and bullet...

    Carrying out of State

I was reading through this forum and I had to chuckle to myself and say "I'd just as soon avoid New Jersey to start with!"..... Looking at that reciprocity chart made me want to move to Alaska.
