Looking to get a 4" Model 10 heavy barrel, cosmetic condition not real important. Have a couple of different revolvers I could trade; 5" Model 10 pencil bbl. Later model Colt Cobra. Prefer a deal in the Central Indiana area, but could ship for a good deal.

Very nice. I had what I thought was a Detective Special, didn't shoot worth a darn. Turns out it was a 1910 vintage Police Positive frame someone rounded the butt on and installed a new(er) Detective Special barrel. Should have kept it and Fitz'ed it....

That is a pretty cool story. I purposely put a pretty high (I thought) buy now price on the one I sold, thinking, Naw, no one would bite. It's not a good idea to bluff on Gunbroker, someone will call.... Congrats on a sweet sixgun!

IIRC, only 2500 of the 3" 66's were produced. I likely could have asked (& got) more for the one I sold, but why? Yeah, I'm a bit odd....

Must be the week for 3" 36's. I picked up a 3" 36-1 the other day. Sweet little revolver.

It means that earlier in the day, I was cleaning up a 4-screw pre-36, and I got the two confused in my little pea-brain. I didn't want to admit to a Senior moment (I'm 48), so I blamed it on not enough caffeine

My 3 28-2's. Top is standard 6 shot, middle is a 7 shot conversion. Bottom is matte nickel. Someone worked the action over very nicely, not enough "o's" to spell out how smoooooth it is
