Black powder never goes bad- everything in it is stable. Even if damp, it will still fire. If it gets wet- it will dry out and still flow just fine. I've used bp rifles on plenty of game, but only about 1/2 dozen or so times I've used BP revolvers on game animals- but they are quite effective...

Propane is the only way to go on a generator. It never goes bad, and you don't have to worry about gas again. Best advice I can give is even if you use gas with an additive- keep an extra carb on the shelf- never know when you might need it.

I see this as a great time for an alternative to the NRA class. The classes are MORE than just classes- they ARE the face of the NRA- it's how many people are introduced to the NRA. They are screwing up terribly on this one. This is bad politics all around.
