Going price for a 15-3 2" blued
I gave $700 for this 15-4, at the top of value but I wanted the condition and box, accessories, etc. it has a little cylinder line but I just had to accept that. Without the matching box and all it would be a $550-$600 purchase absolute tops for me...
I had one that would lock intermittently just as you’ve described. The cylinder locking bolt was worn or “over polished” at the point where the trigger contacts it to unlock the cylinder to allow it to rotate. Back then I was able to get the part from S&W and it was a 5 minute part replacement...
Here’s mine with a Tyler T Grip.

Yes, as stated they shipped with round butt, finger groove combat stocks. They are hard to find and expensive. In my opinion they are too fat and round to shoot nicely. Ahrends is a quality wood option that looks great and shoots very well. Brownell’s sells them.

Those are highly desirable and sell for $1000-$1200 pretty quickly. The grips alone command a strong price, so having them really does make it desirable. They show a little wear but can be easily refinished to original. You didn’t mention the box. That also adds to the value as you obviously...
New in package from Cylinder & Slide, Craig Spegel K/L frame round butt cocobolo boot grips. Made and signed 2009, never mounted or used at all. Obviously perfect condition with screw and packaging. $xxx shipped and insured. First “I’ll take it”, payment by USPS money order. Thanks for looking...
I have a 2" round butt 10 in much better condition that I gave $500 for a year ago. That is at the top for me even in better condition and more desirable 2" RB configuration. I agree the $400 estimate is on target for both those.

M&P Shield 45 range report
I shot my new Shield 45 this weekend along with my Glock 30SF. I only shot a total of 100 rounds of Winchester white box 230 grain ball. I experienced no malfunctions with either pistol.
Accuracy was not finely evaluated but at 5 yards I did shoot the entire...
M&P Shield .40 or .45 ?
After reading this thread, and several others to add or confirm details, but primarily because of this thread I abandoned my pursuit of a Colt Defender Lightweight .45 and bought a Shield .45 today at less than half the price.
Range day this Saturday so I can't...
Wasn't there a K Frame Snubby dedicated thread somewhere back in time? I think we need one since there seems to be a lot of interest lately.

@ISCS Yoda, nobody ever knew. As aircrew we often carried concealed so it went with me, stayed with my gear, and came back. The rules are much more strict and enforced now, no personal weapons allowed.

My loose collection includes only snubs, J and K frame variants.
K frames
Mod 66-3 with Craig Spegel grips. This one went to Desert Storm with me before I knew not to do that.
Mod 15-4 that reminds me of the M56 the Air Force once issued me. This one does stir a little passion for those...
Hey KWill...I'm glad you stepped in with your wealth of knowledge. That document I posted is credit of KWill also.
I was issued a shoulder holster to carry my M56 concealed under my flight suit. It was an early nylon rig but I don't still have it or remember the make. When I moved into...
As a C-130 pilot in 1987-1992 I had an S&W M56 as my standard issue. That is a 2" k frame with adjustable sights like a M15 except without the grooves on top, the sight was smooth. I loved that revolver and have a M15 2" as my keepsake now. I believe AF destroyed most of the M56s making it very...
