    whats your latest brand new revolver purchase?

    The only new S&W revolver I have purchased is my 442-1 that I bought as a back-up gun to carry on duty back in 1997 or so. I'm no longer an LEO, but the 442 is my EDC gun in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. I've bought and sold quite a few others, but they were pre-owned.

    Trade a 442 for a 642?

    I'm no expert either, but I'll add my two cents. I have a 442 that I carry daily in a Desantis Nemesis pocket holster. The 442 shows some wear on the edges, but I've been carrying it for 16 years. I wouldn't trade it for a 642, although I've considered adding a 642 to carry also.

    Model 10-5 trio

    model 10 lowercase, I like your collection, especially the one in the middle row above the model 19. Looking at them helped me decide that I like the 4" pencil barrel best, even over the 3" barrel. Nice diamond grips, too.

    My wife just sold 200 DVD's at the pawn shop for $100 (fifty cents apiece). That was 2-10 percent what she paid for them.

    What revolver have you had the longest?

    I have a 442-1 .38 snubbie that I pocket carry almost every day. I got it in 1997 when I became a cop and I carried it as a backup every day for 7 years.

    How many cartridges do you load

    Except for .22LR, 12 gauge, and .30-30, I reload for every gun I own. I want to load for .30-30 but haven't gotten dies for it yet. I reload for: 9mm, .40, .45 acp, .38 Spl., .357 Magnum, .223, .308, 7mm Rem. Mag., and 8mm Mauser.

    What did you shoot/reload today?

    Loaded 200 rounds of 124 grain 9mm FMJ bullets from Precision Delta over 4.2 grains of Titegroup and Wolf primers.

    5 inch 27-2 back from the S&W hospital

    27-2 That looks fantastic. The grips have very nice grain, the bluing looks awesome and I really like the red ramp insert. I find that I have an easier time seeing and focusing on the red insert than a black front sight, especially when shooting black paper targets. Great looking gun!
