Who else can’t stand your feet pinned in bed?

feet under the covers... Not usually... I get in trouble often as I find myself sleeping on top of the covers which irks my wife as I tend to pin the covers down when she is under them.

5.56 ammo accuracy, or lack of

What is your rate of twist in the rifling? At work we had M-16 and AR-15 A1s with a rate of twist at 1:7 which fed the 55 grain fmj (m193) with accuracy, but would keyhole the 62 grain fmj (M855). Conversely when we got the A2 with the 1:9 twist they would feed the M193 (55 gr fmj) but...

    Hot Air Balloons

Thanks guys, it was a blast being there. I used to crew 20 years ago when I was in high school and sometimes would get a ride out of the deal, and so I used this as a way to give my 10 year old a heck of a good experience. Dave

    Fireworks from the 4th

Thank you. Boardman is on the Columbia River about 220 miles east of Portland and 30 miles west of Hermiston (easier to find on a map) and 55 miles west of Pendleton. We are out in the middle of the desert and the cows outnumber the people (3300 population here). Dave

    An old train tunnel

the thinking on this tunnel (which is in Plymouth, Washington) is that it was punched through and rails laid to run services to the McNary dam when it was being built. Dave p.s. of course I was carrying my S&W 5904 for the snakes (both varieties, reptilian and the two legged variety sometimes...

    AR magazine?

The upper you see with the magazine and rounds in it laying perpendicular to the barrel is for a different round than the 5.56 (I believe it is for the FN 5.7). These uppers are designed like the one shown and what you were thinking was an attachment to feed belts is really the magazine. Dave
