    3904 magazines?

RicT there is a good chance your wife will like the 3904. Many of my friends are women and when they go with me to the range they always choose my 39-2, which is the predecessor of yours. I ask them why they like it and they unanimously say that it is most comfortable to shoot out of my...

    Your SW 9mm Tack Driver?

My fist 9mm is still my most accurate. The 39-2. I also have to mention the 908 it surprises me with its accuracy for what it is.

    Model 4566

Hi Bob, It is simply just a decocker. It does not act as a safety because it will return to the fire position after the hammer is decocked.

    Good video for our side!!

My high school football coach has the same name as this guy. Was a little let down when I saw the guy wasn't him I had a neighbor growing up who owned jewelry shop in downtown LA. He was always armed. He also taught me how to shoot and went to the range with him several times.

    ammo shortage

I was 16 at the time of the '94 awb. Was it this hard to find ammo then or is this a new development? The only ammo I have found with "relative" ease is .357 mag and .40S&W at the shops I frequent. 9mm,45, and 10mm are nowhere to be seen

    Model 4566

I sold my two 1911s after I picked up my 4566. I only wish the mags were as inexpensive

    9mm Luger +P ammo for 39-2

I have wondered this as well. I have a 39-2 and 59, but have hesitated using +p or +p+ in them, because of their alloy frames and age. Only jhp I have tried is Federal 9bp. I wouldn't expect anything detonating in my hand, just unnecessary wear.

Was this a Factory Custom Finish??

If you already have a gold Desert Eagle I say go for it I admit these gems are not for the recoil sensitive, but not as bad as a Glock 27. I like mine.

    908 Vs 3913

So far my 908 has been flawless and surprisingly accurate. Bought it used in Great shape and have fired ~700 rounds. Only JHP I have tried are Federal HST 124 +P and 115 9BP. They share the same grips and mags, so I would say yes they are the same grip width. But the slides are contoured...

    S&W 4040PD?

Well well... I just switched the plastic grip off the 908 and onto the 4040 and it fit! And I just put the one I tried to get onto the 908 and it didn't fit .... so I broke out the 457 and switched grips with the trouble maker one and guess what? Looks like S&W sent the wrong grip So thanks...

    S&W 4040PD?

Hey Bad Man, I tried it again just as you mentioned, but to no avail. I double checked the packing list from S&W when I ordered to sets of the grips- #203560000. I might just have to accept the fact of just using Hogues. Thanks.

    S&W 4040PD?

Hey Fastbolt and Bad_Man, Thanks for taking the time to look into this. I previously tried for a while to get it on, but the 3913/908 grip is too horizontally long to fit. When the pin holes are aligned you can see that it overlaps the tang and blocks the decocker. You can see with this pic...
