Chuck: Thanks for the heads-up on the Cokes. I always thought they were specific to the .44 Magnum due to the palm swell, which does help with recoil. I suppose Cokes were put on a lot of the N-frame targets because they were so very cool! I appreciate knowing the facts on these pieces...

I think that those guns are priced OK... the Model 14 is a .38 Target and is worth at least $400.00 in excellent condition. A K-22 made between 1957 and 1989 is worth $475 in excellent condition. Both are worth more if NIB (New In Box). Some Model 14's were made in single action only. Great...

Just to add to the mix, I was able to have S&W repair and reblue a 1953-vintage .357, 5" a couple of years ago. The cost was about $400.00, which included a new cylinder. The work was first rate; I think the Custom Shop did the work. Turnaround time was a month or so, but tha was not an issue...
