I've had a Benjamin Trail XL in 22 cal for a year or so, and have been happy with it. Accurate and lots of power. Drawbacks are weight, and it had a very poor trigger out of the box. Plan on replacing the trigger with the GTR-III or similar if you buy one. It makes a huge difference.

Anyone with a Freedom Arms revolver will tie for this distinction.

I agree. To me, the whole point of a hangun is to be easily carried. Scopes on most handguns as well as full lugged barrels, and to a lesser extent, unfluted cylinders, just ain't right. Carry a light rifle if you must have a scope. It is superior in every respect to a scoped, heavy lugged revolver.

I used to get a lot of requests to shoot mine. My response to this evolved into "I'll bring the gun if you bring the ammo." Most guys just don't really want to shoot a semi auto 50 THAT badly. :rolleyes:
