I've got an Eotech 512 on my MOE. If the battery goes out, the flip up can be used looking right through the Eotech. No Problem.:)

I took the 5 mags option and as I remember it took about 2 months to come through. That goes through Milanos also. The mags are very nice by the way, with the M&P logos.

I love my M&P15 MOE. No complaints. The twist rate shouldn't keep you from shooting heavier loads. It could affect long range accuracy, but for a carbine that's not an issue.

Regarding the extractor issue, with the bolt removed from the carrier, using both hands to leverage the extractor it will not move on it's pivot pin. dissassembling the extractor the internal spring can be depressed quite easily. Put it together and the assembly won't budge. So it's binding...
