Half as wide easily. Mine arrived slightly bent and I tweaked it straight, there is one even thinner at 0.035" available but I wouldnt go thinner than 0.050" myself. The "ears" on the MBUS will keep it protected anyways.

Are the protective "ears" just taller or is the actual post also taller? Id hope they are the same height at the post so it doesnt throw off any cowitness.

Oh my bad I read that wrong. I have a 0.050" from Brownells. I mic'd the height compared to stock so it should be very close but Im going to rezero it precisely tonight.

I ordered a black AFG 2 from BCM yesterday. I ordered immediately after receiving notification they were back im stock. Anyone looking for one may want to check there. My AFG1 is now on my 15/22 and the AFG 2 is going on my BCM middy.

Have you thought of a 1-4x variable scope? There are plenty of options in that area. I run a PA 1-4x, and I shoot from 25 feet to 100yds easily.

I use the white syringe that dispenses grease, I forget the name at the moment. I have also have tried oil and CLP on pistols, and the grease is the only one still visibly there after 500+ rounds. I ran 800rds thru the 15/22 on Saturday and I cleaned it today and it was still properly lubed...

I have had it 2.5 weeks now and already have 2000rds thru it. I love the versatility it offers with the PA 1-4x scope. Anything from close range to 100yds (furthest Ive shot with this rifle) is easy to hit within 3" shoot n' c's. I was surprised on a windy day I could stay inside 3" at 100yds...
