How many M520's do we have here in the forum?

I have one that was used so I seldom go to the range with out the 520. The revolver is a lot of fun to shoot. I have no idea how many rounds I have put thru it.

K22 today at Tulsa gun show

I'm certain your grandson will enjoy the 17. I have told this story before but I had my then 12 year old grandson out to the range with the 17. After going thru a large number of 22 rounds he looked at me and said "gramp's when you get old I want this gun" so at least I knew I wasn't old.

    Like new 28-2

I know what you are going thru. I purchased a 1948 M&P in gold box unfired I have never owned a safe queen. I'm almost sure I now have a safe queen. What is making this a little easy for me is I have other M&P 38's. Look for the burn rings this will tell you if it is factory fired or...

    Model 520

I purchased my 520 a couple years ago. I find it hard to go to the range with out it. I paid a little to much for the revolver but it just looked great but it had been reblued so I have put hundred's of 357 rounds thru it. Take yours to the range you will enjoy.

    Should I sell?

I think if you sell your 629 it will be one of your largest regrets. I have a couple 629 and my 629-5 silhouette 10 5/8 bbl goes to the range with me most. Start with 100 yards and then work your way out to 200 a lot of fun.

I purchased one a couple years ago, paid a little to much, but it is fun to shoot. I take it to the range almost every time I shoot. I'm not into safe queens but each his own.

    17-2 all numbers match.

I have told this story before. A few years ago the grandson came up from the city to spend a week. We started out each day bass fishing and spent each afternoon at the range. The first day we took the 17-2 ,colt woodsman, pre 15 and a couple rifles. He always went back to the model 17 and...

    Finally! Resolution complete!

I went back to your 08/10/2017 post with the picture of the revolver with Pachmayr's. I also have several I have removed from revolvers,I just don't like them but as the revolver is pictured I must admit I kind of like the Pachmayer look on your revolver.

    That look of disgust . . .

About 4 years ago I picked up a lot of nice Smith and Wesson and what is the name of that other company, starts with a C? I think a lot of dad's and grandpa's revolvers were traded in on Glocks. I'm sure they are happy and so am I.

    First range report- ever !!

Welcome! I am sure you know that this site will just get you in to trouble. I now have a safe full and I open this forum and find someone has another model that I don't have and need. But I tell myself each new one is the last revolver I need. Enjoy and get out to the range often.

Looking to get some information on my family's guns

Welcome! I like others have stated would advise your keeping the revolvers. I have grandsons and one grand daughter and each has told me the guns they want. I even had the youngest grandson tell me after firing the K22 "Grandpa when you get old I want this gun." At least he thinks I'm not old.

Can you tell us a little about the 7gr 2400 load. How long have you used the load and how much crimp? Your targets look great and as I get older the load sounds comfortable for 2400. Thanks
