On this topic what do you all use as a CC holster? I have a Blackhawk which is not very hideable and a Uncle Mikes soft which I feel is too soft to have a round chambered. Currently both of mine do not have a round chambered.

I own an SD9 and have recently purchased an Uncle Mikes IWB holster for it. Is it safe to carry the gun with a round in the chamber? I also have a blackhawk holster that I rarely use that I feel is safe to carry with a chambered round.

I do not want to open carry that is why I always wear baggy and long shirts so I do not think it will be a problem. I tried about 6 IWB's and not 1 was confortable. I do not want to carry the SD9 in the small of my back I feel it is to big to go back there and my 380 goes there when I have it...

I will have to try with the belt part. In Indiana we do not have to Conceal to carry I was just wondering about it. I do think it is a little big for that however converting to the belt might just get it by as I do not want the gun to be visible all the time and I do not like the feel of IWB's...
