I have one also, it's been an accurate pistol and I enjoy shooting it. I even carry it sometimes. I really like the 1911 platform. My next purchase will probably be a 1911 9mm or the 1911 round butt .45.
I have a M&P40c that I bought in March and I also am without the front white dot. I'm going to put night sights on it, but not sure which ones. Has anyone had the Novak sights put on?
I too have just purchased a BG380, and I'm pleased with it so far. I bought a Crossbreed minituck for mine that the dealer recomended. This too gets my thumbs up:D It conceals really well and you hardly know it's there. Check them out on their web site.

I just dug out my manuals I had(just moved in Feb) and they are all vintage 70's and 80's, wow can't believe I'm that old!
Anyway, thanks for your info. I think I'll pick up a new manual, are there any that are better then the others?
I'm thinking about a revolver for ccw and tried to find info in a search about this one, but couldn't find anything. The other I'm considering is the 442. I would think the recoil would be substancial on the 340(shooting .357's) compared to the 442. If you shoot .38's out of the .357 are there...
John, either way I don't think you can go wrong. They are both sweet shooting guns. 9mm is a little cheaper to shoot then .45. If you get the 9mm, why not get a set of 9mm dies and reload for that too?
I've just jumped on the M&P bandwagon myself. I got the .40C. I'm so happy with the function and accuracy. Like others have said, it reminds me of my 1911's. I like this pistol. I'm trying to decide if I want a Pro Series 9mm or .40 now. Convert, you''ll be glad you did!
I'm new to this forum and I've been looking at and wondering the same thing. I was weighing the choice's between the 3" 1911's available, and did not really hear alot about the little Smith. Out of them all I liked it the best. Thanks for the info.
