Finally got a Model 41 today

I'm afraid that if I ever bought one of these, I'd stop loving my other .22 pistols.

    3rd Gen SS Lube

It's a 3rd gen...anything short of bacon grease should be fine. I like to use Tetra on all my pistols' rails but I'm sure that it's overkill.

    Ammo at TargetSportUSA

"TargetSports and SG Ammo are two of the best." Here, Here! Good to hear about the Privi LRN. I have several boxes that I have yet to shoot.

It's Happened Here In New York 01/15/13

This needs to be challenged and sent up through the courts ASAP. I'm sure that the NRA will make this a huge priority.

    New Pre-Owned 4506-1

Looks great. I think you got a square deal on one of the most reliable .45s ever made.

    Model: 4006

Wow! A Shorty 40 even! Too bad he changed his mind. Throw back a few and remember that other opportunities will eventually come around. Cheers.

    Which Snap Caps for 4586?

Amen. I use these for all my pistols. Very cheap insurance for a worthy activity.

    Model: 4006

For what you have described, I would look at offering about 350.00 for it. That way you get a solid deal and he doesn't necessarily get burned. If it is pristine and has a few extra mags, you may want to offer 400.00 to assuage any feelings of guilt that may otherwise crop up. I think you will...

Can't believe what people are paying on GB for ammo right now:eek: I'd take up knitting before paying those prices:o

    Early Christmas 5906

Now that's what I call a stocking stuffer! Solid deal there. Did you buy local or from an on-line vendor?

    Model 4006: Your Experiences?

Nothing but good here. Beefy, solid and 100% reliable. One of the best triggers of any pistol I have. If I do my part, the rounds go where their supposed to. Another perk of owning this fine model is the current availability of cheap, used magazines. CDNN usually sells police trade ins for...

4506 in 98% price? Got it for $375, pics added.

I'd buy them all day long at that price. When I ran out of money, I'd make my kids sell their plasma and buy more!

    4006... FINALLY!

I'm convinced that people who think that .40 is too snappy have never shot a 4006. Those CSP bears are cool:cool:

    Should I buy this? 3913nl

I would try to get it for 550.00 OTD. Most places mark their guns high and have a little wiggle room for negotiation. You never know until you ask. The only fly in the ointment is the panic buying that's going on currently. If this dealer is having no problems moving his guns at their...

    Spurless hammers. Yes? No?

I like to dry fire my guns with snap caps frequently. Spurred hammers are a good bit easier than spurless for this purpose. However, I have gotten fairly adept at pulling the trigger back just far enough to get my L thumb on the top hammer serations to finish pulling it back on my 6906. It did...

    My new to me 4506

That one looks factory fresh. Happy B-day and enjoy one of the most reliable .45's ever made.

I'm Not buying another gun! Dang, I bought another gun.

"Which raises the question of why I need two full sized double stack 3rd generation semis?" Answer: Because they aren't making them like this anymore and if you didn't snag it, some other 3rd genophile would have. If one is good, two is always better. Besides, look how well they compliment...
