Happy b-day to me: a 45 for my 45th, I'm pretty giddee about this one! I can't find a mark on it, even the mags (2) are clean. Original box, paper work and oil paper wrapping. Previous owner thinks maybe 200 rounds through it (?) Oh "and it's sooooo heavy " really, it's only an once and half more than my 5906, 1.5 oz ( I know, both are still over 2 lbs empty) and if this is not fun enough my wife got me another surprise......... a mini pocket canon!

Happy 45th, Dan. That one looks like a fairly early 4506, but I am no expert when it comes to sizing one up. They are heavy, but I still have mine - and it is probably not going anywhere any time soon. Congrats to you on your new "cannons." :)

That one looks factory fresh. Happy B-day and enjoy one of the most reliable .45's ever made.

I finally added some hogue grips to the 4506 nioght and day difference, the stock grips were just too hard and uncomfortable to me , the hogue rubber grips feel great (I have them on my 5906 too, and that's a FAT grip) sooner or later I'll actually be able to hit something with it lol of and the mini cannon yes very cool my ffl is an engineer/ machinist and plans on make a few stocking stuffers this season :)

I also have a 4506 (no dash), and it is my FAVORITE pistol. Congrats on your 4506 and on turning 45...(I'm 58, so you are still a young'n...LOL...).
