    CSX E-series owners PLEASE respond

Was disappointed in the first CSX, hoping this will be better, but bought a Shield+ which is super, replaced my 938 that was outstanding but had limited capacity.

    High Standard's "The Victor"

Have had 2 Victors, sold the first as the mags were a pain, kept my 41. Found another in great shape, still fighting the mags, stupid design without a feed ramp. I have the mag lip adjusting tool, but is a never ending problem and long process. IMO not worth it. Otherwise a great gun.

Love my Shield Plus in 30 SC, compact, almost 9mm energy and 30 rounds with two magazines. I'm sold!! On my hip 90% of the time. Saving brass to reload so not concerned about price.

    Browning Hi Power

Have the same 1995 deep blue with adjustable sights. Heavy recoil spring and heaviest trigger of my three BHPs, but fun to shoot. Was in the display at the local gun counter for a long time, then they marked it down to the same price as the base model, and no interest for 6 months......sold...

    Opinions about a model 36-6 3" - updated post #27

Love the 3 in HB, balances well, looks and shoots great. I have the 60-15 and wouldn't let it go! Good luck!

    Model 41 3 barrel set

I remember in the late 80s or 90s field barrels were availalbe occasionally in Shotgun News. Wish I had acted then. Wonder why S&W doesn't do so today? Occasional runs of other barrels are made. I picked up a 5 in HB a few years ago.

The 4 inch is one of my favorites of all my Smiths. Do it!

Why not just get a Glock.

Glocks have a unnatural grip angle, blocky grip, lousy trigger, plastic sights, uncustomizeable grips......about anything else has evolved to be a better choice - PDP, VP9, CZ, S&W......

Going to shoot my Model 41 finally.

You'll love it, my 1980 version was the second gun I bought in 1982, and one of the last sold. Great trigger, accurate and fun! bought a new 5.5 barrel and topped with a red dot. Keep cleaned and will treat you well.

    Could not resist this Gun

I try, but the trigger doesn't impress me enough to lay out that kind of $$. I'll stick with my Smiths.

    K-Frame "Thailand" Grips?

Bought one over 10 years ago, the top of the grip area was wide, pounding my hand from the 686, not comfortable. Beautiful but in the grip box.

    30 Super Carry

I had a hard time spending additional $ on a 10/12 round 9mm to replace my quality Sig 938, but when I saw the Shield+ in 30SC at 13/16 I jumped on it. I think it has a great nitch and will be here to stay, I'm quite happy with it and feel comfortable with 30 rounds on my person vs. 14.

    Shield Plus 30SC Range Report

Bought mine yesterday, 50 rounds of Federal 100 gr no issues. Shoots about 1 in left at 7 yards. Loading mags full with Mag Lula is a good push. Pretty happy so far. Thanks for your review.
