I've noticed quite a few fail to fires from light pin strikes using the timney 3lb trigger and slidefire stock. Is there anyone else who has experienced this same problem running this kind of setup? They tend to occur more frequently after a few hundred rounds at the range(while bumpfiring)...

has nobody tried one of these drums with a slidefire yet? Curious if the added weight will allow it to function.

and.....they are a helluva lot of fun! I set mine up with a Timney 3lb trigger, which a lot of people are having great success with, including myself as well. I also purchased the non-rotating pin set and built a 22 gauge steel shim piece for under the trigger assembly to keep the timney set...

S&W M&P 15-22 is the way better choice. my friend has had the colt for 3 months and has already sent it back to the manufacturer for mag catch issues where he was getting dropped mags during firing after they had locked up.

i have the Bushnell TRS-25 and am happy with it.

same here, KNS pins, timney 3lb trigger, slidefire. I removed the iron sights, and added a Bushnell TRS-25 red dot with a medium riser mount. make sure you lube the inside of the slidefire, i used a silicone spray lubricant. it is also in the touch, I was using a folding vertical grip up...

yeah, but it was a real bitch. Had to let it soak in lead remover for a day and then went to town with wire brushes :(

I actually contacted Bazooka Brothers and they have a prototype in the works for the 15-22, but I actually like the way you went about it using a S&W mag. Looks alot more solid and will probably feed much better.

was there anything you needed to do to the drum itself to make it run better upside down? thanks, and you should definitely look into a bump stock & I see you already have the Timney 3 lb trigger
