I live in in the city of Clovis just outside Fresno and I've had ammo delivered all the time from several online sources with no trouble at all. It's the only way I buy my ammo. However, lately it has become very difficult to find ammo available from my regular sources.

My m&p 22 that I purchased back in November is a CA compliant version. It has a CA on the slide. It is my understanding that the CA version is the only m&p 22 that is authorized for sale and purchase here in California. I added a Crimson Trace rail master to my wife's M&P 22. She loves it. I have to admit it is a blast to shoot with or without the laser being on. The rail master attaches to the front rail and is very easy to turn on and off with your index finger.

+1 on the Uplula. This loader really makes it fast to load your magazine. It especially helps load that last round that is extremely difficult to load.

I have the same question for the California compliant m&p 22. I've been waiting 3 months now and still no word on a time line. I think that the states with various compliant issues are at the bottom of the priority list from S&W when producing these guns. Just my guess. I'll keep my fingers...
