just picked-up a 66-1 today about 90-95% 72k2*** should be 1980 i know pictuers

what year did the 66-1 start & end and were they all nickle or polished ss i think it came out in 1971 but when did the dash-1 start & end

yes i took off the sideplate cleaned with ballistol and brush. i tried GECO AMMO twice then tried FEDERAL CHAMPION, AMERICAN EAGLE & it was fine

up date went back to the range yesterday,had the same problem as before. I went back to the range today had no problem all I did was use different ammo. I was using GECO , I DIDN'T think I would have trouble with a revolver, today I used AMERICAN EAGLE & FEDERAL CHAMPION what a difference

will i flushed it out with break cleaner 8-10 times any opening i sprayed it in a lot of junk came out i kept working the trigger sa/da over and over i used about 3/4 of a can.i blew it out with compressed air. i then sprayed it down with ballistol every where. i worked the trigger over & over...

Can I use break cleaner on a blued gun

I check under the star nothing the rod is tight. When I get home i will remove the grips and check it out

Trigger is hard to pull and hammer goes 1/2 way back and binds up if I turn the cylinder a little than trigger and hammer come back when cylinder is opened it turns free

my 28-2 needs to go back to S&W it was made in 1966 do they still warrent it that old?
