Consider TruGlo TFX or TFO sights. I have the TFOs on my Shield and they are great, day or night/low-light.

+3 laser grip' why you might ask, a little less flip. However, I have all three versions and all have held zero since I set them!

Decided to update this thread after about a year now. Dumped the NCStar scope; at least it didn't cost a bunch. And as a couple other members have said, went back to the EOTech for CQB drills and just use the 1/3 co-witnessed MBUS sights on B27 target at 100 yards and beyond. Thanks again to all...

Bought this new in box, included end labels:

Nikon ProStaff 3-9x 50mm and some AccuShot Premium 1-Inch Weaver Style See-Thru High-Pro Rings for my Ruger 10/22 for playing Poker at 25 yards. 52 cards on an 8 1/2 x 11" sheet of paper. Cards are about 1w x 1 1/4"H. Can be a challenge if you're not having a "good" day.

Hmmm, what are your top two uses for the weapon? Benching, competition, "reach out and touch someone", CQB?

Had same issue. I use the 8-round mags; helps with getting a shooting grip on the weapon while holstered. Adjusted the IWB holster to ride higher on the belt with 15 degree FBI cant. Works for me.

That's normal. It's slightly staggered by design. I'll post up at pick later. Had my 22C for nearly a year, good little shooter and reliable with decent ammo. EDIT: added pics. Laser used for shooting bowling pin tops @25' -- eyes too old for open sights :D

Yup, I have 3 CT lasers on a M&P9FS, Shield, and a SR45. Co-witness the laser with the iron sights at the yardage you think best. There will then be very little adjustment at the range. BTW, you'd think the SR45's CT rail laser, shot every weekend in competition would loose zero. Not so, has...

Hmmm, I've got a 45 degree mount I could mount the green-dot on just in front of the scope mount. Might give it a try; thanks!

Here's an idea for others that are faced with the same issue. Mounted a green-dot on the scope tube. The scope is a 3-9x w/lighted reticle. The scope and green-dot are both available from NCStar. Green-dot available separately with mount for any 30mm tube, given you've room on the tube for it...
