Anybody Get Through To S&W Customer Service Yet?

I got cut off after holding for 5 minutes. Back on hold again waiting for an available rep. Gonna be a long day for those folks and anybody trying to talk to them.

P.S.

I'm not calling to find out where my mags are. I want to change my credit card info since the card I used to place my order was hacked and cancelled.

Just spoke to someone. My order placed on 12/22 doesn't even show up in their system yet. I have an email from them with a order number and confirmation. This doesn't look good. Said to call back Thursday or Friday when things settle down. LOL!

It must be due to the craziness as of late. Every encounter I've had with S&W cs has been outstanding.

I placed orders for mags with two different vendors on 12/20/12. Four out of the eight have already arrived and the other four say that they are shipping out today. It was just before all the real craziness started that I ordered them for friends and family as Christmas gifts. I just hope the other four actually make it to me. When I ordered them they were still selling for $17 or $18 depending on black or FDE. I can't wait for this crazy crud to end!!! I also hope my bulk ammo buy actually gets processed and shipped soon as well. Good luck to us all!!

After my phone call with S&W this morning, I ordered 4 short 10rd'rs from 44Mag.com. The rep at S&W said it would be months before they would have any 25rd mags. By then we could have a ban already in place. 44Mag is still showing 100+ in stock of the short 10rd. I just got my 15-22 and only have the 25rd mag that came with it. Worst case, I sell them on Ebay where they are going for three times the cost of 44Mag.

I am a new member here. Called S&W about 8:30 Est. was on hold for about 30min. I was looking for 25 rd FDE mags and they were available 2000 according to the rep. Black 25rd were not available. I placed my order and he said it should ship out tomorrow. Hopefully this info will help anyone looking for mags.

I just called all hi cap mags including fde are on backorder

It's crazy for any company or retailer that sells guns or ammo. The demand is off the charts and they just can't handle the volume. Wait is nearly an hour in my local gun store.....not sure why since everything is sold! Actually my personal observation is that 75% of the folks are "picking up" stuff that they had ordered.

I sent them my brand new M&P40c that had magazine feed issues, sear deactivation lever questions and slide stop (release?) troubles; FedEx stated that it was received on the 19th. I finally got someone to pickup the phone after 59 mins and 36 seconds (cell phone timer); was told that they have been off since the 21st and just got back to work. "You should have your weapon by next week" was the comment from the rep. Hang in there everybody, S&W is really backed up.

Just FYI took me about 30 min or so to get a person on the phone. My pmags are back ordered for up to 8 weeks. They are out of 10 and 25 round 15-22 mags, however they did say they had 25 rounder fde ones in stock and avaiable but you had to call and order those own the phone directly. This was tonight 01-02-13 at about 1930 or so.

It must be nice i called this morning and they tell me one thing and u another. Shoot ill take fde mags i dont care what color they are. But this no definitive answer bs is getting real old
