Does anyone have any experience shooting CCI Velocitor (40 gr. at 1425 fps.) in their 15-22 ? I wonder if the bolt will batter the back of the receiver to much.

I normally shoot stuff like that in my Ruger 77/22 bolt action, but I doubt an occasional mag of the stuff will do anything to your 15-22. I don't know that I'd feed it a regular diet of the stuff, but others may disagree.
FWIW, the rear of the bolt carrier will dear the brunt of the recoil, not the receiver, itself.

Manual says it's ok to shoot Stingers (Except in the Performance Center model) which have an fps of +1600.

The 15-22 is not designed to shoot .22 L or .22 S. There are rifles out there designed to shoot all three sizes but the 15-22 is not one of them.
