CMMP 22LR Conversion kit magazines

Does anyone know if the magazines that come with the CMMP 22LR conversion kit will fit a standard S&W M&P 15-22? Already have a 15-22. I'm thinking of converting a S&W M&P Sport II in .556 to 22LR as well. The 15-22 only came with one magazine so it would be nice to be able use them in both rifles. The conversion kit comes with 3.

I'd keep the Sport II original and buy another 15-22 or other .22 like a 15-22 pistol or Ruger 22

No, CMMG conversion mags don't fit in the 15-22 mag well.

The mags are close but different. I have not tried the CMMG (actually Black Dog) mags in the Smith but the Smith mags will work in the CMMG with a shim to hold the angle correctly. Enter to go ahead and bite the bullet and buy the correct ones.
