M&P 9C (Model 109204) - CA Compliant?

I saw this gun is CA compliant and comes with a 10 round mag. Aside from the smaller capacity mag, what makes this gun CA compliant? Does it have a heavier trigger pull than normal M&P 9C models? Thank you!

This gun is not CA compliant because it's not on the Approved Safe Handgun List. Sorry, but you can't buy any new M&P in CA anymore except the Shield.

When this was sold in CA, I believe California required a loaded chamber indicator, a magazine disconnect and a thumb safety.

It has a magazine safety so it won't fire without a mag in it. The loaded chamber indicator is the "peep hole" in the top of the slide. There is no thumb safety. And as you've already noted, a 10 round mag.

The trigger pull is the same as the non-compliant ones.

Rastoff is correct though in that there's no such thing as a CA-Compliant M&P Compact anymore since it went off roster.

I bought mine (and my FS) before it dropped off. It came with 2 mags, one flat base and the extended base like in the Bud's picture.

The ad says CA compliant, but it is not on the CA DOJ approved list.

Seems that Bud's needs to update the list, but it is up to the customer to verify, since the list seems to change constantly.

I would hate to try to live there.

BTW, the "good thing" about a mag safety is it doesn't have the warning about shooting with the mag removed.
