Not sure this is the right place but it is about my 9mm Shield :)
While surfing E Bay I found the Pro Mag 10 round Mags for 21$ Shipped! Knowing the issues some had with Pro Mag I would not buy one in the 28/30$ range! But for $21.00 I gave it a shot :O
60 rounds of 124 gr HP No problems
40 rounds og 115 JHP no problems. Feed and shot well no FTF of FTE Still wont use it when I carry as I do not trust Pro mag with my saving my butt ! Range use yup!
Now the minor issue with the mag was loading round 3/4 it would hang up! Seem to be common issue. Seems ther is a cut out round 3/4 that would snag the follower! After pressing down severl time cleared up! So far so good :) Next minor is trying to empty the mag by hand, a pain to remove the live rounds but getting better,
So all in all I may get 1 more for range use! Will see how it holds up after 500 rounds :)
Anyone else have similar issues with them ? just curious

Thanks

Recently picked up 8 round OEM mags for the Shield for $24 on sale at Shoot Straight. Gotta watch the sales.
That is a good price on the OEM Mags,, Ill keep checking :) I have 3 OEM 8 rounder's and 1 7 . I wanted to try the 10 as I punch a lot of paper. At 24$ OEM Ill grab 2 of them as well :) Ill have to see if they have mags for my Ruger SR9. Best price I got was 2 for 40$ :) 17 round mags

I had the same issue with loading the 10 round mag. The bottom of the follower would hang up on the magazine catch cutout.
They need to change the design.
No problems shooting though.

@ Radco, do you have the link on ebay where you bought yours? I tried looking for it but my googlefu is not that strong.
Thanks

The vendor is gooutdoorgear ! I scanned his site briefly and didn't see a 10 rounder but I could have missed it. You can always message him through E bay Sorry not much help

^ Ah, so maybe that's why I didn't see it. I'll scan it again later, maybe he'll have his stocks back up soon.
Thanks!

The vendor should have more mags in in a week or 2. They are on back order! the vendor is gooutdoorgear

I have some Promags for my fullsize. I've gone on record before and will again, they are ****! I don't even use mine for range mags. The ones for my Mini 14 are worse in that they wouldn't even lock in without some "refinement".

Watch the key sites such as Greg Cote, Quantico tactical, Botach, even Midway for sales and availability.

Botach seems to have the 8's in stock for $25 plus shipping.

I do agree that they do not look as well made as OEM! But for fun at the range it is fine for me,,Will see how it holds up..

Let us know how it holds up. My only experience with promag is a 32 round magazine for my Ruger P95 that really holds 37 rounds easily, I picked it up for around $17 and have only used cheap steel case Russian ammo in it and it has worked flawlessly, of course I bought it just to use as a range toy the same as you did and wouldn't count on it for any serious use. I've considered picking up another one, but with all the bad reviews I figure I better not push my luck.:D

Ill repost after 3/500 rounds! The OEM does look better built! But this one is for fun :) so will see
