How do I contact Jerry Miculek ?

I have a M&P compact , and a Vortex Razor . I want to have the slide milled to accept the Razor . I have contacted several places to have the job done , but they say you can't mount the razor on a hand gun .

One place said for me to send them my slide and razor , and they would see what they could do . Jerry has a Vortex Razor on his M&P CORE , along with tall suppressor sights . I have been unable to locate Suppressor sights that are tall enough to Co Witness with the razor . I contacted Vortex and asked them where I could find sights that are tall enough to work with the Razor . They stated to the best of their knowledge no one makes sights tall enough to Co Witness with the Razor . I would like to be able to email Jerry Miculek to find out how is CORE was done .

Team Miculek - The Legacy Lives On I don't see a "contact us" on that site, but there is a link to their facebook page.

Keep in mind Jerry Miculek works for S&W and has pretty much endless resources, including I'm sure access to S&W machinists to make anything he wants.

That is a meaty sight. I don't think you are going to find off the shelf sights to co-witness.

This is the best selection of taller sights I've found.

No idea what you paid for the Razor, but the Viper is $229, and will co-witness much easier. But the sight window is also smaller, so there are trade offs. There are other guys running Razors on handguns, but all the pics I have seen they are not co-witnessing.

I would think the razor would have pretty good value, great on a rifle.

Still, the Razor will not co-witness with of the shelf sights.
You can probably get Dawson to mfg a taller set, but that may get expensive.

Looks like you want a BMW sidearm ( Bring More Wallet) :D

I have already contacted Dawson , just waiting to hear back from them .
 
So far Bowie, is the only one I have found that actually mills bosses into the slide. I don't know if they are necessary, but they would certainly add strength. Bowie is a lot higher priced though.

I don't know if L&M uses bosses or not, I am waiting to hear back from them.

The mounting plates on the CORE pistols all have bosses, which makes me think maybe it's worth the extra.
 
How thick are the mounting plates for the core? How tall are the bosses? It might be possible to have the Razor machined to fit the core without using the mounting plate which might bring the Razor lower so co witness might be possible.
