Designed? No, I very much doubt that the M&P40 2.0 was "designed" to function reliably with Linear Compensators, but I'm certain that it could be made to function reliably with one.
My Performance Center M&P40 Shield fitted with an Alpha Wolf Threaded Barrel and Kaw Valley Precision Linear Compensator.
I haven't gotten to take it out shooting just yet, but if all goes according to plan then I'll have shot it by Independence Day, and I'll post a Range Report once I've shot it.
