The front sight in the first image seen on an ad for the BG2 is completely different from the front sight that actually comes on the gun, at least on mine and likely, on all others who have bought this gun. I wish my gun actually came with that one. Mine is the second image.

Installed this one; much brighter orange and tritium insert than factory one.

Anxious to see how MP sight works on BG 2.0. Doesn’t seem like any companies are ramping up to offer the first set of upgraded sights. Spoke with Night Fision, nothing happening there.

I believe the rear sight was from original Bodyguard.

It's a Tru-Glo made for the original Bodyguard. Unfortunally the front sight is different. I had to combine two sets of sights to get what I want. Rather expensive way to do it.

I may do the Tru-Glo rear shortly.

The gun has only been out in the wild for about 3 months. Given the positive public reaction to the BG 2.0, I am confident that the aftermarket will be along with better sights as soon as production can ramp up. I am just sitting tight for a while to see what turns up before mixing and matching other sights. YMMV.

Who will win the race - Trijicon, TruGlo, Night Fision, Ameriglo?

Disregard, site wouldn’t let me delete post.

I bought a new M&P front, green Tritium sight for my BG 2.0. I'm putting it on tomorrow at the range where they have a sight drifting tool. I know it will work because I attempted it on my Shield 2.0 and it wouldn't go in without the tool.

I'm looking forward (no pun intended) to having on my BG 2.0.

I would like to replace the front sight on my BG2 and was under the impression that there were no front sight replacements for BG 2 at this time. Could you please give a follow up on your replacement with this Tritium sight?

I contacted Williams one of the companies that make sights for Smith and Wesson. I was informed by them that it would be late 2025 before they would have sights available for the BG2.

Damn! I spoke with Night Fision a few days ago, nothing in the works for them.

Ordered a Bodyguard rear sight for my 2.0. That’ll take care of the wide rear slop until someone manufacturer wise steps up and makes some nice night sights.

Good idea. I found a factory M&P Bodyguard rear sight for a good price on eBay and will see if that improves things until someone makes a complete night sight set for the BG 2.0.

My friend and I recently had our first range trip with our BG 2 and we agreed the sights are not very good. I gave up my Ruger LCP Max for the new BG but gotta say, the Ruger front sight is awesome. Guess I am like the others and will wait for better sights
