Well I bought it back on the 17th and took it from the store to the range and put 80 rounds through it and loved it. But like most every owner of a 9ve I just wasn't a fan of the trigger. So in went my order to Apex for the AET and the spring kit. I can honestly say it's the best $60 I've ever spent that didn't end with a girl naked. While I was waiting for them to get here I went back out and shot some more, have 200 through it on the S&W trigger and springs.
Keeping the budget in mind, let's be honest the $299 tag was part of the reason we all bought it, I went and bought a spare cheapo $6 hex key set instead of $6 per punch or using my nice key set. Works just the same. You guys will like my make shift armorers blocks as well. I followed the Apex video on youtube and for this being my first time taking a pistol beyond field stripping it made everything very easy.

Installed on the striker old vs new.
S&W trigger vs Apex AET.
On the Apex trigger it comes with the pin for the trigger bar pressed in but not set. Leaving enough room to line it up and press it in all the way.
AET installed. Still had the slave pin through the frame here.
Now for some reason I didn't think to take any finished pictures. In another thread from a member asking about the AET install I had this to say about the filing some people have to do on the trigger.
So as far as the spring kit and AET install I'm happy with every bit of it. Easy install even for a first timer like myself. Along with a very noticeable difference in pull without even firing a round. 100% satisfaction, hopefully I'll put another 100 or so rounds through it this weekend. I held off on polishing any pieces for now. I'd like to see how just the trigger and springs effect everything and then add the polishing variable later after some hard results with these components.

Recently installed it on my mine along with the spring kit. Just from dry firing it I can tell a difference. With the shaving/filing I had to do on the trigger I put it so the breaking point is right at the end of the pull, no over travel at all. It is also much more comfortable, so to speak, on the trigger pull. I always felt like in order to engage the safety on the S&W trigger I was pulling in a more downwards direction instead of straight back. With the Apex it's all straight back.
