I just want to reduce trigger pull a bit (maybe 2lbs). For those of you that have modded their SD9VE triggers, if you had to pick just one aftermarket part to accomplish my goal, what one mod would you pick?

I have the APEX trigger and spring kit in my (2) SWVE models, and in my (2) SDVE models. The SD9 has a 7 lb. trigger. I can live with that. Thanks folks. It's all certainly food for thought. This is my plan: 1. Do as Steve912 suggests, smooth things out. If that doesn't accomplish what I want then. 2. Disabled1 suggests the Apex spring kit. I may try that. Reliability is my #1 concern, I don't need or want a race gun. Cost would be a secondary but also very important consideration. I can't see spending $100+ dollars on a $300 gun. I might as well have bought an M&P to start with.
My previous experience indicates that stoning/smoothing promotes feel, often fooling folks into thinking the pull weight has been reduced. It's the springs that actually reduce pull weight. Of course, with springs a fine line must be walked between pull weight and reliability.
