I bought this SW9V in 1994 or 1995, shot it very little.

For the last 12 years (at least) it's been a sort of experiment; I kept it loaded in a bag holster in my car with Remington Golden Saber ammunition. It was sort of a back-up to a back-up, so to speak. Never touched it, no care at all.

Anyhoo, heat and cold for years, no lube, and it shot just fine today. That doesn't prove anything except this gun and ammunition worked without care this time. Still a little interesting to me. But I am easily amused.

Very nice.
Now, if it were me, I'd strip it down and check springs, barrel, internals for any sign of rust or fatigue. Just for curiosity sake.
Then clean, lube, and store again.
